Tunstall Healthcare Group has acquired RTX Healthcare further strengthening its commitment to telehealth and helping in the development and transition to telehealthcare. The acquisition of RTX will strengthen the global business and in particular will provide the platform for North America and Continental Europe.

The RTX platform allows customers the choice of open system interoperability, in line with the ambitions of the Continua Health Alliance. It is Tunstall’s strategy to integrate the best technologies from around the world and will continue to work with existing technology partners alongside RTX.

RTX Healthcare, now renamed Tunstall Healthcare A/S, specialises in the development and manufacturing of wireless medical devices for remote monitoring of people living with chronic diseases. Its customer base includes Disease Management companies, System Integrators and Telehealth Solution Providers who are in need of dedicated and tailored products to address the special requirements of successful and cost effective telehealth monitoring of a rapidly growing population around the globe, suffering from a wide range of chronic diseases including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart failure, coronary artery disease and diabetes.
