Our innovative range of non-intrusive
sensors work with Tunstall PERS units
to offer a comprehensive way of managing the risks
to a person's health and home environment. |
 |
- Amie+
& Gem - worn round the neck, on the
wrist or attached to an item of clothing,
personal triggers enable a call for help to be raised
anywhere in the home or garden. * |
 |
- Bed Occupancy Sensor - a solution
for the protection of clients who get up
during the night and fail to return after a specified
period
of time has elapsed. The sensor can also
detect whether clients have failed to go to bed
at night or have not got up in the morning thus alerting
caregivers to possible hazard, illness or
accident conditions. The sensor can be used with
the X-10 controllers
to turn on bedside, corridor and bathroom
lights in order to prevent falling in the
night. Compatible with Caresse range.** |
 |
- Enuresis Sensor -
Placed between the mattress and sheet, this sensor provides
immediate
warning on detection of
moisture, allowing effective action to
be taken. The sensor eliminates the need for carers
to make physical
checks, promoting dignity and independence. Compatible
with Caresse range.**
|
| |
- Fall
Detector - clipped to the clothing
and can detect when the wearer falls.
It utilizes an intelligent 2-stage detection process
in order to identify
a genuine fall and minimize false alarms.
The detector incorporates an emergency button.
Compatible with Telecom and Caresse ranges.* |
 |
- Flood Detector - a neat unobtrusive
wireless sensor that can provide an early
warning of potential flood situations. The sensor is
placed
under the sink or in the washroom next to
the WC or under the bath. If the detector senses
water the unit will provide an audible alarm and will
activate the home unit, which will automatically
raise a call at the response center. Compatible
with Telecom and Caresse ranges.* |
|
- Medical Reminders - the Telecom
4000 and Caresse+ allow a care giver to
store up to six voice messages which are timed to remind
the
client
to take medications or other important daily events.
They also allow the recording of single “one-off”
reminders up to 24 hours in advance. |
| |
- PIR (Movement Detector) - The PIR
is a wireless movement detector that detects
activity. One or more PIRs are linked to the home unit
as part of the activity monitoring solution,
raising a call when the client has been inactive
during a critical period of the day. The PIR can also
detect intruders when the client is away
from home. Compatible with
Telecom and Caresse ranges.* |
| |
- Pull Cord - can be either
wireless
or hardwired to provide additional reassurance
in bathrooms and bedside. Compatible with Telecom and
Caresse ranges.* |
|
- Radio Output Module
(ROM) - allows other compatible devices,
to transmit a signal to a home unit,
eliminating the need to hard wire peripherals.
Compatible with Telecom and
Caresse ranges.* |
 |
- Temperature Extreme Sensor - with
the ability to monitor for low and high
temperature extremes the sensor is available to provide
added protection
to clients at risk. The sensor will help to minimize
risks to clients associated with changes
in temperature including the build up of heat
in a kitchen and the risk of sustained periods of cold
weather.
Compatible with the Caresse range.** |
| |
- Smoke Detector - This
Wireless Smoke Detector provides greater reassurance
than a standard smoke detector. Firstly by sounding
a
local audible alarm and secondly by activating
the home unit which will automatically raise
a call at the response center. This allows the appropriate
action to be taken swiftly reducing the risk to life
and
property. Compatible with Telecom and
Caresse ranges. |
 |
- Wandering Client Sensor - provides
an early warning by alerting local caregivers
or a response center that the client has left their home
and not returned within a predetermined time.
Like the bed occupancy sensor, it can also
be configured to automatically switch on a light near
the door. Compatible with the Caresse range.** |
